Growing up in Northwest Oregon, I discovered two passions at an early age: film-making and spending time in the outdoors. As I fostered both of these interests  over the years, I began searching for ways to combine the two. This led me to the Seattle-based nonprofit OAR Northwest, where I had the opportunity to row down the entire Mississippi River from source-to-sea, collecting water samples and speaking with local students along the way (check out the video I made detailing our journey here

Through my experience on the Mississippi, I fell in love with the challenge of telling complex, nuanced stories of organizations with a mission of improving their communities. I have developed short-documentary content for the Johnson Creek Watershed Council in Portland, Oregon, the W.W Seymour Botanical Conservatory in Tacoma, Washington, Temple Isaiah in Lafayette, California and several other organizations. In all of these projects, I seek to explore the human element within the organization I am profiling, examining not just the benefit their work has on the community, but the profound impact that is imparted on the individuals as they carry out the work.

If you're an organization seeking to share your story with the public, contact me! I will work closely with you to gain a firm grasp of your mission and values, and will ensure that your story is told in a manner that is honest, entertaining and emotionally resonant.
